Marketing Executive

As a senior member of the marketing team, you will help drive professionalism, efficiency, and effectiveness throughout the department. Focusing on continuous improvement, you will work towards completion of the company’s strategic marketing goals in line with Russwood’s 5 core values.

• Support in setting and exceeding marketing objectives while achieving growth through the fostering of a target driven culture
• Leading social media, SEO, paid advertising, and website content to boost online presence.
• Overseeing the training of new team members and mentoring new and junior members of the team.
• Acting as a point of contact for marketing internally, developing and fostering collaboration with sales, product, and creative departments.
• Working with the Marketing Manager and other senior leaders to develop marketing plans, setting campaign goals, identifying and understanding target markets, and creating content calendars
• Ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels to enhance customer loyalty and market share
• Supporting all internal messaging and brand development.

• You will hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or other appropriately related subject, or equivalent experience
• Confident and inspiring leader with experience working within a result orientated marketing environment
• Knowledge of data with the ability to understand patterns
• Experience in Google Ads and paid advertising campaigns
• A creative, and innovative mindset with clear problem-solving skills
• An exceptional level of attention to detail
• Strong understanding of lean processes and continuous improvement
• Proficient in Russwood’s internal IT systems along with sufficient ICT literacy to deal with various technologies and programmes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect persuasively with your team, managers, and customers
• Good planning and organisational skills matched with a flexibility and responsiveness to meet the needs of the marketing team and customers

Annual Starting Salary £32,000 / annum dependant on experience

42.5 hours per week Monday – Friday based at either our Newtonmore or Glasgow office.

This is a fixed term position for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
