We have a wonderful opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our vibrant Marketing team. A career as unique as you are:As our Marketing Executive you will primarily assist the Marketing Manager with all aspects of the marketing mix. A strategic thinker, you will be skilled in multi-tasking and confident in overseeing Laings' social media presence, driving engagement and building a strong online community through creative, strategic social media initiatives and insightful performance reporting. Our Marketing team colleagues assist Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm daily, across 37.5 hours per week.
Hereis how we see your role:
- Develop and execute Laings social media strategy with support and guidance from the Marketing Manager.
- Continuously optimise the strategy to enhance engagement and brand presence.
- Manage Laings social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Linked In, You Tube, and any future channels.
- Utilise creativity and knowledge of the latest trends to produce engaging experiences for our audiences.
- Develop social media expertise through research, analysing performance, external training and agency support.
- Manage Laings social community communications.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and promote a positive online community.
- Write blogs and ad hoc copy requests as required. Review and edit copy from other team members to ensure consistency and quality.
- Work with in-house Photographers to create product photoshoots for socials.
- Bring creative concepts and inspiration to enhance the visual output.
- Act as the custodian for Laings' brand and its partners, ensuring all communications adhere to brand guidelines.
- Maintain excellent relationships with brand partners, serving as the main point of contact for all social media-related matters.
- Attend photoshoots and events to capture engaging social content.
- Produce real-time content that showcases the brand's activities and products.
- Produce regular reports on social media performance, including metrics on engagement, reach, follower growth, and content effectiveness.
- Analyse data to provide insights and recommendations for improving social media strategies.
- Participate in brainstorms and workshops to contribute to the overall marketing strategy.
- Provide insights and ideas to enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Be educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, Media or relevant discipline.
- Hold demonstratable experience in social media management, preferably in the luxury or retail sector.
- Have a strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Showcase strong organisational and teamwork skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
- Hold sound IT Skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have excellent attention to detail and a sensitive understanding of the luxury industry.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal, naturally able to build relationships with stakeholders in the business and brand partners.
- Have the ability to work as part of a fast-paced team.
