St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. We do this through developing and providing effective community response and outreach services (e.g. Ambulance response) and using our longstanding expertise to empower people with vital clinical skills and the confidence to use them (e.g. our Volunteers and Community Advocates, and Young Responders programmes).
Job Summary

By helping organisations access life‑saving first aid training and essential medical supplies, you'll play a key role in growing our commercial services while supporting our charitable mission of putting the power of first aid into everybody's hands.
We're looking for an experienced Marketing Campaign Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across our Training and Supplies portfolios. This is a pivotal role for a highly organised project manager who thrives on bringing people together, managing multiple priorities and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
Working at the heart of our commercial marketing team, you'll act as the central coordinator for campaign delivery, developing detailed project plans, managing timelines, dependencies and stakeholder activity from initial brief through to launch and post‑campaign evaluation. Collaborating with colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Product and Operations, as well as external agencies, you'll ensure every campaign is executed seamlessly and delivers measurable commercial impact.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, collaborative and passionate about delivering exceptional marketing campaigns. You'll bring:
- Proven experience managing complex, multi‑channel marketing campaigns from planning through to delivery, evaluation and reporting, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with experience creating detailed campaign plans, managing timelines, dependencies, budgets and competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence colleagues, build relationships and coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver shared goals.
- Experience working with external agencies and suppliers, producing clear briefs and ensuring campaigns are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
- A good understanding of marketing channels, campaign performance and data, with the ability to use insights to optimise activity and improve results.
- Experience working in a commercial marketing environment, ideally within B2B, eCommerce or product marketing, with knowledge of project management tools such as Asana, or Airtable.
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline. A professional marketing or project management qualification (such as CIM, IDM, Agile or PRINCE2) would be an advantage.
