Role Description The Account Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Glasgow, responsible for leading key client relationships and overseeing the delivery of brand activation campaigns. The role involves managing day-to-day client communications, understanding client objectives, and translating them into clear briefs and actionable plans for internal teams. The Account Director will coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
This position includes supervising and mentoring account teams, driving new business opportunities within existing accounts, and collaborating with creative, production, and operations teams to optimize campaign performance. The Account Director will also prepare and present proposals, reports, and insights to clients, maintaining a focus on growth, quality, and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Strong account management skills, with experience building and maintaining client relationships and managing multiple accounts.
- Demonstrated team management and team leadership abilities, including mentoring, performance oversight, and fostering collaboration.
- Solid project management skills, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management across concurrent campaigns.
- Background in brand activation, marketing, or advertising, ideally within an agency or brand environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery.
- Ability to work on-site in Glasgow and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Willingness to travel from time-to-time.
