We are currently recruiting for a Lead Employability Officer .
Due to the nature of the duties associated with this role, the post is open to women only under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Terms and Conditions- Fixed-term contract until March 2027 (with the possibility of extension, subject to continued funding).
- Annual leave entitlement of 37.5 days per year pro rata , inclusive of public holidays.
- Occasional evening and weekend working may be required. Where agreed in advance with your line manager, time off in lieu (TOIL) will be provided.
The post will be primarily based at Amina’s Glasgow office .

We work to ensure that Muslim and minority ethnic women have opportunities to influence policy and decision-making, while supporting public bodies, service providers, and policymakers to better understand and address the barriers these women can face when accessing services and opportunities
The OrganisationAmina – The Muslim Women’s Resource Centre opened to the public in April 2002 and officially launched on 1 November 2002.
The organisation currently employs a diverse team delivering a range of services including employability support, advocacy, violence against women and girls services, training, wellbeing programmes, fundraising, communications, administration, and management functions.
Our work is funded through a variety of sources, including the Scottish Government, Glasgow City Council, charitable trusts and foundations, partnership agreements, fundraising activity, and individual donations.
Amina MWRC is governed by an elected voluntary Board of Directors and is registered as a Scottish charity (SC027690) and a company limited by guarantee (SC432921).
