Community Staff Nurse - Adult Nursing Services

Overview

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a broad range of clinical and non‑clinical professions. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to over 1.15 million people, and a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

Shift pattern for this post is variable.

Salary is pro rata for part‑time hours.

Effective 1 April 2026 the full‑time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours.

• Provide an accessible, appropriate, high‑quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies.
• Be a first‑level Registered Nurse who will support the District Charge Nurse in delivering care to patients with complex needs.
• Be responsible for providing skilled nursing interventions for patients.

• NMC registration and driving licence are essential requirements.
• NHS experience is preferable.
• You must have a live NMC UK pin to be considered for this post.
