The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for full‑time Staff Nurses to join the North East District Nursing Service within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. This role offers the chance to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to patients across diverse communities while working autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital part in enabling patients to remain independent in their own homes, delivering personalised and culturally sensitive care.

Full time, permanent. Base location:
Springburn Health Centre. Shift pattern: flexible, working Monday to Sunday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, with participation in weekend and public holiday rota.
- Deliver safe, effective, and person‑centred nursing care to patients within the community setting
- Assess, plan and implement care programmes in partnership with patients, families and carers
- Provide skilled clinical interventions, including complex and technical nursing procedures
- Work autonomously while supporting and collaborating with the wider district nursing team
- Respond to both planned and urgent care needs, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate clinical records and work in line with professional standards and policies
- Participate in service delivery, including weekend and public holiday rotas
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration (Part 1 or equivalent experience)
- Evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to revalidation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
- Ability to work independently using sound clinical judgement and decision‑making skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage workload effectively
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel are essential
