About the Role

The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing service delivery across Glasgow, ensuring care is safe, effective, and fully compliant.

Working alongside the Service Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership to care professionals, monitor service standards, and drive continuous improvement across quality, performance, and client satisfaction.

This is a hands‑on role requiring confident decision‑making, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and performance management
  • Support induction, and ongoing development
  • Address performance concerns constructively and professionally
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix
Compliance & Operations
  • Maintain accurate records and meet regulatory requirements
  • Monitor service KPIs and implement improvements where needed
  • Work collaboratively with scheduling and management teams
  • Participate in the on‑call rota
Essential Criteria
  • Experience in domiciliary or community care
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory standards
  • Experience in care assessment and planning
  • SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare (or willingness to work towards)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Competent IT skills and a full driving licence, with access to car.
