Staff Nurses (NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde)
Are you a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse looking to build your skills across a range of clinical specialties? NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking enthusiastic Staff Nurses to join our dedicated teams and deliver outstanding patient care.
You need to have a live NMC UK pin in order to be considered for this post.
Employment Details- Full-time, Permanent
- Based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary
- Working Monday to Sunday rotationally
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based care programmes tailored to individual patient needs
- Deliver safe, effective and compassionate nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with professional and organisational standards
- Support and empower patients, families and carers to participate in decisions about care and wellbeing
- Contribute to the supervision and support of students, learners and junior members of staff
- Participate in clinical audit, research and continuous quality improvement activities
- Ensure the safe and effective management of clinical resources, equipment and supplies
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Sound clinical judgement and commitment to delivering person‑centred care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based practice
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
- A minimum of 27 days annual leave, increasing with length of service, plus public holidays
