Staff Nurses (NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde)

Are you a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse looking to build your skills across a range of clinical specialties? NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking enthusiastic Staff Nurses to join our dedicated teams and deliver outstanding patient care.

You need to have a live NMC UK pin in order to be considered for this post.

• Full-time, Permanent
• Based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary
• Working Monday to Sunday rotationally

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based care programmes tailored to individual patient needs
• Deliver safe, effective and compassionate nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with professional and organisational standards
• Support and empower patients, families and carers to participate in decisions about care and wellbeing
• Contribute to the supervision and support of students, learners and junior members of staff
• Participate in clinical audit, research and continuous quality improvement activities
• Ensure the safe and effective management of clinical resources, equipment and supplies

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Sound clinical judgement and commitment to delivering person‑centred care
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based practice
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
