Locum Childrens Nurse - Admissions & Discharge | Royal Hospital for Children

Are you a dedicated Childrens Nurse with experience in Admissions and Discharge? Medacs Healthcare is offering an exciting locum opportunity at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.

Pay: £325 – £430 per day
Shifts: Saturdays & Sundays
Location: Royal Hospital for Children
Weekly Pay: Fast, reliable weekly payments

• Manage the safe, timely, and appropriate care of children, ensuring smooth transitions and coordinated care with families, hospital teams, and community services.
• Demonstrate high standards of clinical practice.
• Plan the workload for a team of patients.
• Safely admit day surgery patients and care for them throughout their surgical pathway, ensuring a safe nurse‑led discharge.

• Current NMC registration.
• Minimum 1 year post‑graduate experience.
• At least 6 months recent UK experience within the last 3 years.
