NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 Nurse to join our Dermatology Outpatient Clinic team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality patient-centred care, work alongside experienced multidisciplinary colleagues and support patients with a wide range of dermatological conditions.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:- Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the Stobhill campus.
- This is a permanent, part-time post of 26.67 hour per week.
- Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours
- Assess patient care needs and develop, implement and evaluate individualised programmes of care
- Deliver safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care to patients attending the Dermatology Clinic
- Support the day-to-day operational running of the clinic and contribute to a high-quality patient experience
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, carers and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Supervise, support and mentor students and junior colleagues within the clinical environment
- Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement activities and the implementation of best practice initiatives
- Contribute to maintaining a safe clinical environment through effective risk management, infection prevention and accurate record keeping
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Demonstrable clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development and a commitment to lifelong learning
- Ability to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care within a busy clinical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Previous dermatology experience would be advantageous but is not essential
