Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a better work-life balance without stepping away from hands-on patient care?

We're recruiting for a Community Nurse to join a leading specialist healthcare provider, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're an experienced Community Nurse or an RGN working in a hospital setting and looking for a change, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills, work more independently and enjoy a Monday–Friday working pattern.

What's in it for you?

  • Salary up to £39,000 depending on experience
  • Fully expensed company car and fuel card or £4,877.50 car allowance plus mileage
  • Monday–Friday working pattern – no nights or regular weekends
  • 33 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Option to purchase additional annual leave
  • NMC registration fees paid
  • Company pension scheme
  • Mobile phone and tablet provided
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing clinical training
  • Excellent opportunities for professional development
  • Support from an experienced clinical leadership team

The Role

As a Community Nurse, you'll deliver personalised nursing care to patients in their own homes, helping them manage their health conditions and receive treatment outside of a hospital environment.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own workload, supported by an established clinical team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering safe, effective nursing care to patients in the community
  • Carrying out clinical assessments and developing individualised care plans
  • Administering prescribed treatments and monitoring patient progress

Identifying changes in patients' conditions and escalating concerns appropriately
  • Providing clinical advice, education and reassurance to patients and families
  • Working closely with GPs, hospital teams and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring high standards of patient safety

About You

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Experience in an acute hospital, community or other relevant clinical setting
  • Confident clinical assessment and patient management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a community environment
  • Full UK driving licence

Community nursing experience isn't essential. Nurses with a strong acute clinical background who are keen to move into community nursing are encouraged to apply.
