• Our state-of-the-art flagship practice is located in the Royal Burgh of Lanark; a bustling market town located in the beautiful lower Clyde Valley. Picture spending your weekends exploring the nearby waterfalls, lochs and Woodlands - or Glasgow is just 40 minutes away by car if that's more your style.

• On the Small Animal side, we provide high standards of veterinary care from our hospital in Lanark and branches in Lesmahagow and Wishaw. We are an RCVS accredited, modern practice with equipment that includes laser therapy, video endoscopy, ultrasound and digital x-ray!

• We regularly hold nursing clinics and provide 24/7 nurse cover.

• Our 14-Vet team ranges from recently qualified to certificate holders, all with varied interests from hiking and paddle boarding to baking. We regularly hold clinical discussions and invite everyone to participate.

• Yes, we do cover our own on-call, but we work hard to make sure you have an amazing work-life balance. We ask that you do 1 in 11 weeks on-call.

We appreciate that being a Veterinary Surgeon can bring its challenges, and no two days are the same, we offer 15-minute consults and a varied caseload.

When on-call, more experienced vets must be comfortable working sole charge; a support structure is in place for less experienced colleagues on-call.

• Competitive salary, up to £65,000 depending on experience
