The Shuttleworth Botanic Garden is seeking a full-time Landscape Manager to help develop and manage its 300-acre designed landscape and expanding Living Collection on the Isle of Man. The role involves overseeing work programmes, implementing landscape and planting plans, managing and mentoring staff, delivering training, collaborating with designers and specialist partners, and maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Candidates should hold a relevant HND or degree and have at least seven years’ experience in significant landscape, botanic garden or horticultural projects, including people management. Strong knowledge of temperate plants, cultivation, plant nomenclature, soil science and large-scale landscape design is essential. The role is mainly outdoors, requires travel between sites and a full driving licence. A competitive salary, relocation support, pension option and additional benefits are offered.
