QHES Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a QHES Manager for our client, a growing print and packaging business based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality or Compliance professional to take ownership of the quality function, with a strong focus on BRCGS, environmental compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Lead the Quality and Compliance function and manage a team of four. Own BRCGS certification, preparation and external audits. Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems. Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, FSE and PEFC requirements. Lead internal audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with production and operational teams to maintain high quality and compliance standards. Monitor KPIs and provide quality and compliance reporting to senior management.

Requirements Proven experience within a Quality, Compliance, QHES, QHSE or similar role. Strong experience leading and delivering BRCGS audits is essential.

Experience with in manufacturing, packaging, food, print or a similar regulated environment.

Experience with Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001. Knowledge of FSE and PEFC requirements. Previous experience managing or mentoring a quality team. Strong audit, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills. Relevant qualification in Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety or Compliance is desirable.
