Performance Test Engineer | 6-Month Contract | Glasgow | Hybrid
A Performance Test Engineer is required to support end-to-end non-functional testing across complex application environments. The role will focus on performance, scalability, stability and reliability, working closely with development, architecture, infrastructure and business teams.
Key responsibilities include:- Define performance test requirements, workload models and test plans
- Develop and maintain Load Runner/Performance Centre scripts and test data
- Execute performance tests, monitor systems and analyse results
- Identify bottlenecks, performance risks and appropriate mitigations
- Produce performance metrics, test summaries and status reporting
- Support performance testing across cloud and legacy environments
Skills:
- Load Runner / Performance Centre
- Web HTTP/HTML, Tru Client and Web Services
- Mule Soft, TIBCO and Mule ESB
- Dynatrace / App Dynamics
- Performance testing frameworks and standards
- Agile delivery
