Position: Commercial Property Manager / Head of Property

Overview

Full‑time permanent role offering a salary of circa £40,000 (DOE) and benefits. The Commercial Property Manager / Head of Property will oversee a commercial property portfolio, lead a small team, and ensure smooth delivery of property management services while maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants and contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a small property management team to meet operational targets and objectives.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of a commercial property portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, owners, and stakeholders.
  • Attend committee and annual meetings to provide updates and address property matters.
  • Assist with preparation of service charge budgets for managed properties.
  • Use property management software (ideally TRAMPS) to maintain records, process payments, and generate reports.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to ensure maintenance standards and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate property, lease, and maintenance records.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Qualifications
  • Previously worked as a Head of Property Management, Commercial Property Manager, Senior Property Manager, Head of Commercial Property Management, Property Manager, Portfolio Manager, Estate Manager, Block Manager, Head of Property or in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in a commercial property management position.
  • Experience leading or supervising a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Experience using property management software such as TRAMPS is advantageous.
  • Professional approach when dealing with clients, landlords, tenants and stakeholders.
