The Property Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Glasgow. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a portfolio of residential properties, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring properties meet all regulatory and safety standards. The Property Manager will liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors, handle inquiries, conduct property inspections, and oversee check-ins and check-outs. The role involves preparing and reviewing tenancy documentation, monitoring rental payments, and addressing tenancy issues promptly and professionally.
The Property Manager will also support the wider team with digital systems, contribute to process improvements, and help deliver a high level of customer service aligned with Gallus’s standards.
- Strong property management skills, including coordinating maintenance, conducting inspections, and managing tenancies.
- Customer service and communication skills to build positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple properties, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
- Comfort working with digital tools and property management software, with attention to accurate record-keeping and documentation.
- Knowledge of local property regulations, safety standards, and best practices in lettings (Scottish property market experience is an advantage).
- Ability to work on-site in Glasgow, use initiative, and solve problems independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Previous experience in property management, lettings, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications or training in property or real estate are beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for property visits and inspections, if required.
