About the Team
The National Office Agency team in Glasgow advises landlords, developers and occupiers on office-property strategy across Glasgow, the West of Scotland and the wider UK market. Its work spans the development, leasing, acquisition and disposal of city-centre and out-of-town office accommodation, supporting both public- and private-sector clients. The team combines detailed local market knowledge with collaboration across Newmark’s national office network.
You'll be joining a team that's expanding, giving you broader exposure to live deals, faster opportunities to take on responsibility, and a real chance to help shape the office's growth.
Newmark’s Degree Apprenticeship Programme is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in commercial real estate while working towards a degree with the University of the Built Environment (UBE). Designed for school leavers, the programme combines practical, on-the-job learning within a professional real estate team with structured academic study.
As a Degree Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across relevant commercial property disciplines, work alongside experienced surveyors and senior colleagues, and develop the technical knowledge, professional skills and client-facing confidence required for a successful career in the sector. You will also build the competencies needed to progress towards professional qualification, including the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and ultimately MRICS status.
