We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Impact Manager to join our Professional Development (PD) team and help demonstrate the value of our professional learning offer by establishing a consistent approach to measuring and reporting on the quality and experience of our products and services.

About the role

The Senior Impact Manager: PD Products is a fixed-term role that will establish a consistent approach to measuring and reporting on the quality and experience of professional development products and services. The postholder will establish the short- and long-term impact of our courses and qualifications with the aim of turning this insight into compelling evidence, case studies and customer-facing proof points that strengthen our market position.

The postholder will combine evaluation expertise with commercial judgement utilising understanding of research methods and impact measurement with an ability to turn evidence into clear, compelling customer-facing stories.

Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:
  • Within the first six months, you will establish a monitoring and evaluation framework and implement it.
  • Develop a variety of data collection and reporting approaches to be utilised by the wider PD team on an on-going basis and can be communicated to our external stakeholders.
  • By the end of this fixed-term role, you will have produced a review of the framework and its initial implementation, including evidence of progress, lessons learned and recommendations for future development.
  • Throughout the fixed-term period, you will be regularly reporting and building proof points and messaging that help strengthen our reputation as a chosen provider for school CPD, strengthen brand reputation, competitive differentiation and customer trust.

This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. You

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and customer-focused, with the ability to turn data and evidence into meaningful insight and action. You'll be an effective communicator who can present complex findings in a clear and compelling way, influence stakeholders through evidence-based recommendations, and build strong collaborative relationships across teams and customer groups. You'll also bring commercial awareness, recognising how customer impact and experience contribute to growth, reputation and long-term success.

You

will also be able to demonstrate:
  • Experience designing and delivering impact measurement, evaluation or research projects.
  • Experience analysing qualitative and quantitative data and turning findings into actionable insight.
  • Experience designing and conducting customer or user research.
  • Experience producing reports, case studies or other evidence-based communications.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation and impact measurement approaches, including quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear and compelling narratives.
