Daphne Jackson Fellowship - Postdoctoral Researcher

The Daphne Jackson Trust is a UK charity dedicated to helping individuals restart their research careers after a break of two years or more for family, caring, or health reasons. It offers uniquely flexible fellowships across all research disciplines and technical professions, hosted in universities, research institutions, industry, and other relevant settings. The Daphne Jackson Fellowship – Postdoctoral Researcher role is a part-time. Applications are invited for up to three Daphne Jackson Fellowships funded by Cancer Research UK to be held at the CRUK Scotland Institute, Glasgow.

The part-time fellowships are open to individuals who want to return to research after a career break of at least two years to carry out research focused on understanding the mechanisms that regulate cancer cell proliferation, survival and dissemination. Applicants from a range of disciplines are welcome to apply, for example including computational as well as biomedical scientists.
