Chef de Partie

About the Role

Cross basket Castle is a luxury 5‑star hotel and event venue on the outskirts of Glasgow. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced chef de partie to join our team.

You will play a key role assisting the kitchen team in all aspects of planning, organising and communicating within this department.

• Work with the restaurant team to understand customer expectations, comments and handle any complaints to satisfy the customer promptly.
• Consistently prepare and cook all food to the standards and dish specifications.
• Be hands‑on and present during the busy service periods.
• Be a team player at all times and be prepared to be flexible to ensure all operations are guest‑focused, efficient and profitable.
• Ensure all items on the menu are available, as appropriate.
• Ensure functions menus are managed effectively in conjunction with the events manager.
