Breakfast Chef Dalmeny Park House Hotel

We are actively seeking a Breakfast Chef to join the team at Dalmeny Park House Hotel. The role will involve preparing and cooking breakfast for residents and walk-in guests, assisting with prep work for service, and supporting the wider kitchen team with a variety of duties. There is also potential for additional hours, depending on the successful candidate’s skills and experience.

• Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast items to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensuring the kitchen is set up and equipped with all necessary ingredients and equipment before service begins.
• Working efficiently with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely breakfast service.
• Assisting with preparation for lunch service.
• Preparing afternoon teas.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and presentation throughout the kitchen.

• Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen is highly beneficial.
• Experience as a Chef de Partie or Breakfast Chef is preferred.
• A creative approach to cooking, with an eye for detail.
• Experience preparing breakfast, soups, sauces, and afternoon teas.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for food and delivering high-quality dishes.
• The ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
