More than Glasgow's most unique bar, Waxy O'Connor's is also the city's biggest and best Irish bar. Our team manage events, serve food and host functions for up to 500, working 3 floors, 6 bars and 9 different areas. It's a big job, and one that demands a love of all things Irish, including music, food, sports and, of course, drink!

As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to design and deliver menus that meet both customer satisfaction and our bottom line. This will include placing orders, helping to minimise wastage and serving up consistently high-quality dishes. You'll also help to recruit, train and develop the kitchen team, ensuring skills are up to date and opportunities for development are taken advantage of.
