Assistant Breakfast Manager

We are seeking a morning person and outgoing personality for the role of Assistant Breakfast Manager to work our Breakfast service. Typically finishing by midday, this role is ideal for those with evening commitments.

• Provide the highest levels of guest service, offering personalised dish and beverage recommendations, and delivering a memorable dining experience.
• Work closely with the Bar and Kitchen team to ensure the effective flow of communication.
• Running the restaurant throughout Breakfast service.
• To always lead by example, and drive service through effective delegation of responsibilities and always having a pro-active approach.
• Maintain a comprehensive level of knowledge of our current breakfast menu to be able to offer guests recommendations, including understanding the allergens presence in dishes.
• To delegate tasks responsibility to the Breakfast team, ensuring a smooth breakfast service.
• To roster according to business needs, liaising with the restaurant manager to ascertain demands.
• To oversee the management of sections, making sure that tables are immaculately turned over quickly.

The successful applicant will have/be:

• At least one years’ experience as an Assistant Manager or above in a similar calibre of full-service restaurant with experience in writing rotas, delivering training, and daily people management.
• A minimum of fouryears experience working in restaurants.
• A confident leader with a hands-on approach to leading a team
• Be an outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work at pace and be proactive for the duration of your shift.
• An enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity.
• Be task oriented witha great pridefor the work they do and attention to detail.
• Flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our business.
• A sociable person who enjoys early morning starts.
