Chef de Partie Dalmeny Park House Hotel Full Time

As Chef de Partie, you will be a key member of our kitchen team at Dalmeny Park House Hotel, taking responsibility for a designated section and ensuring dishes are prepared to a consistently high standard. Working alongside our senior chefs, you'll help deliver an excellent dining experience for our guests while developing your skills in a busy hotel kitchen.

Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, Dalmeny Park House Hotel is a popular wedding and events venue, known for its beautiful surroundings and exceptional hospitality. You'll be joining a dedicated and passionate team, committed to delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Preparing and cooking dishes in line with established recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
  • Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering and ensuring effective stock rotation.
  • Supporting and guiding Commis Chefs and junior members of the kitchen team.
  • Keeping your workstation clean, organised and well-equipped.
  • Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure a positive and collaborative working environment.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Professional cookery qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for food, with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • The ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A reliable, punctual and hardworking approach.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
