Retail Assistant – Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Peat Road, Glasgow. We offer a permanent 39 hour full time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.

• Hours:
  
  39 hours across 5 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour depending on age (16-20 £ 10.95; 21+ £12.81).

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, help to pack and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy, able to jump between tasks such as deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning, stock rotation.
• Reliable; an important part of a small team; dependable on each shift.
• Flexibility for shifts and willing to cover for teammates taking holidays; rota planned three weeks in advance.
• Completion of an employment verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
