Retail Assistant

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop on Peat Road, Glasgow. This is a permanent, 39‑hour full‑time position. Shift patterns are flexible across five days per week, including weekends.

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting.
• Assist customers in locating items.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, pack items and say thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock carefully, including deliveries, freezers and shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly safety, clean‑up and tidy routines.

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy the busy pace, juggling deliveries, tills, floor help and cleaning duties.
• Reliable and dependable as part of a small team; customers and colleagues rely on you.
• Some flexibility with shifts; rota’s are planned three weeks in advance and outside commitments are considered.
