Retail Assistant Shawlands

Salary: £12.71 per hour plus benefits.

Location:

Shawlands, Glasgow.

Hours:

Sundays only.

Contract:

Permanent. Closing date: 21st June 2026 at 23:55.

You must be eligible to work in the UK.

• Oversee the running of the shop on a Sunday, including taking keyholder responsibility and supporting a diverse team of volunteers.
• Assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
• Review and process donated goods and new stock.
• Develop creative ideas to help generate new income, in collaboration with the Shop Manager.
• Use customer service skills to ensure customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
• Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.

• Working knowledge of excellent customer service practices.
• Experience working in a lively and vibrant environment.
• Adaptability in changing situations, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commercial awareness.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ideally experience in retail and/or fashion retail.
