Stockroom Assistant

Join us as a Warehouse Assistant in Glasgow, G1 4RT
. This part‑time role is 14 hours per week, requiring flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in our retail operations by sorting, checking, and managing donations. The work is fast‑paced, varies daily, and involves lifting large furniture pieces.

• Handle and move deliveries of furniture and appliances into stores.
• Ensure the shop floor is well stocked at all times.
• Work in line with safety regulations and promote health, safety and wellbeing.
• Identify unsaleable donations for recycling.
• Keep the stockroom organised and tidy.

• Previous retail experience is not essential.
• Confident working within a team and able to guide volunteer activities.
• Comfortable working under pressure and independently in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail in all tasks.
• Able to perform manual work that involves moving large items or volumes of stock.
