Job Summary

Retail store assistant (with keyholder responsibility) – Glasgow, Byres Road (Permanent, Sundays only). Salary: £12.71 per hour plus benefits. Reports to the shop manager.

• Oversee the running of the shop on Sundays, including keyholder duties (training provided).
• Support a diverse team of volunteers to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
• Review and process donated goods and new stock, and contribute creative ideas to generate income.
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring customers and supporters feel welcome.
• Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
• Handle manual tasks and physical activity required for day‑to‑day operations.

• Working knowledge of great customer service.
• Experience in a lively and vibrant retail environment.
• Adaptable and able to work independently and within a team.
• Commercial awareness and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on a rota basis, with a primary focus on Sundays.
• Legally eligible to work in the UK &at; 18years or older.
