• Oversee the running of the shop, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided) and supporting a talented and diverse team of volunteers.
• Assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
• Review and process donated goods and new stock.
• Develop creative ideas to generate new income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
• Use customer service skills to make sure customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
• Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health and safety.
• Perform varied manual handling and physical activity as part of day‑to‑day duties.

• Working knowledge of excellent customer service.
• Experience working in a lively and vibrant environment.
• Adaptability in changing situations, including ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commercial awareness.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate well.
• Flexibility to cover a rota basis and meet business needs while balancing personal life.
