As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Wind Turbine Inspections team with a Business Development Manager to support our UK and wider European markets.
Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesThe primary goal of this role is to drive lead generation and secure new business for wind turbine inspection and retrofit campaigns, although other renewable technologies will also feature. The position will focus on identifying high-potential prospects, building strategic relationships with asset owners and operators, and converting opportunities into commissioned projects. Key responsibilities include promoting our specialized inspection and retrofit services, understanding client needs, and positioning tailored solutions that maximize asset performance and compliance.
While the UK market will be the main priority, this role will also target growth in other regions, particularly across Ireland and northern Europe.
- Drive commercial development of Natural Power’s services, with a strong focus on inspection and retrofit campaigns:
- Construction:
Highlight expertise in construction oversight, and commissioning/taking over inspections. - Operations:
Position wind asset inspections and retrofit campaigns as a core offering to secure repeat business and long-term client relationships. - Assist preparation of a targeted commercial sales strategy and strengthen client relationships through proactive engagement with the market. The strategy will be developed with the inspection team leads and senior management team.
- Actively prospect for new clients and generate leads for inspection and retrofit campaigns, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients.
- Guide clients in assessing their needs and project specifics, delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs and improve their quality/performance/compliance.
- Coordinate tenders, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and manage contract follow-up to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay informed on market trends and emerging opportunities to identify new sales channels and competitive advantages.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to showcase Natural Power’s expertise and differentiate our services in the renewable energy sector.
- Support sales administration through regular reporting of commercial activities and pipeline progress.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the network and generate new business leads.
This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week
