We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Account Manager to join our busy builder’s merchant team. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven professional with strong industry knowledge and experience managing trade accounts.
Responsibilities- Manage and develop relationships with new and existing trade customers
- Drive sales growth and achieve individual and branch targets
- Provide excellent customer service and product advice
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer records using internal systems
- Work closely with the branch team to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products
- 3–5 years’ experience in a sales or account management role within a builder’s merchant or similar industry
- Strong knowledge of building materials and trade customers
- Experience using the Kerridge system would be a significant advantage
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven with a proactive approach to sales
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Competitive salary (depending on experience)
- Stable Monday–Friday working hours (7:30am–5:00pm)
