About the Client

Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer and supplier of specialist fixing and fastening solutions.

They support customers across the UK and Europe within the construction industry.

The business is known for quality products, technical expertise, and excellent customer service.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to invest in and develop a motivated sales professional.

Roles/Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Manage customer enquiries, quotations, and sales follow-ups.
Identify new business opportunities and support growth across the region.
Work closely with the external sales and management teams.
Develop strong product, technical, and industry knowledge.
Maintain accurate CRM records and customer information.
Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
Work towards individual and team sales targets.
Progress through a structured development plan toward an external sales role.

Qualifications

1-2 years of sales experience, such as internal sales, tele sales, business development, account management, retail sales, or similar.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Confident, enthusiastic, personable, and commercially minded.
Ambitious, proactive, and motivated by career progression.
Comfortable speaking with customers and developing long-term relationships.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Construction industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
