Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic National Account Executive (NAE) to support the delivery of our commercial strategy across Grocery and Wholesale channels in Great Britain.
This is an entry-level role into National Accounts, offering a fantastic opportunity to build a career across sales, marketing, and commercial strategy within the dynamic Beer & Cider category.
As a key member of the GB commercial team, you will play an active role in supporting National Account Managers, Customer relationships, delivering insight-led recommendations, and working cross-functionally to execute outstanding plans in market.
Within C&C Group we have a portfolio of fantastic brands, including Magners, Orchard Pig, Menabrea, Heverlee and of course our iconic Tennent’s Lager. Whilst we know how great these products are, we are looking for an energetic salesperson to join the team.
This requires someone who has a ‘hit the ground running’ kind of attitude, who loves to learn in role helped along by your exceptional team in Off trade. Whilst previous experience working with brands would be advantageous, it is more important that the successful candidate exudes a genuine passion for learning & focusing solely on our products and the exciting task of growing our share of portfolio in take home and the aligned routes to consumer.
Aboutthe Role
- Support National Account Managers in managing key Online, Grocery and Wholesale customers
- Assist in preparing for customer meetings, including presentations, performance reviews, and range reviews
- Help coordinate promotional plans, ensuring strong execution and evaluation
- Analyse sales, category, and shopper data to identify trends and opportunities
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations based on insight and performance
- Track and report on KPIs including volume, value, distribution, and promotional effectiveness
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Category teams to deliver best-in-class execution
- Contribute to the development and delivery of customer plans
- Support project work across innovation launches, campaigns, and in-store activation
- Take ownership of specific projects, driving them from concept through to delivery
- Manage timelines, stakeholders, and outputs
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and outcomes
- Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with data and insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Positive energy – brings enthusiasm and a “can-do” attitude to the team
- Keen to learn – curious, open-minded, and motivated to develop commercial acumen
