Via is supporting our client to recruit a Sales Team Manager for an ambitious and fast-growing business operating within the sports and hospitality sector.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high‑performance sales environment and enjoys developing talent, driving results and leading by example.
You’ll be responsible for building and managing a team of New Business Executives, creating a culture of accountability and success, and maintaining your own sales pipeline alongside your leadership responsibilities.

Location: Glasgow
Working Pattern: Full-time, office‑based
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic (dependent on experience) + uncapped commission
Start Date: Flexible
This role combines leadership with hands‑on sales responsibility.
You’ll have the chance to shape a successful team, influence sales strategy and play a key role in driving continued business growth.
Responsibilities- Recruiting and developing high‑potential sales talent.
- Delivering structured onboarding and ongoing training programmes.
- Conducting regular 1‑to‑1s, call coaching and performance reviews.
- Creating a high‑energy, competitive and collaborative culture.
- Driving accountability and managing performance effectively.
- Taking ownership of team KPIs, activity levels and revenue targets.
- Monitoring pipeline health and identifying opportunities to improve conversion.
- Maintaining your own pipeline and achieving individual sales targets.
- Building relationships with senior decision‑makers and key clients.
- Working closely with leadership to refine sales processes and outbound strategy.
We’re looking for a commercially minded sales leader who enjoys developing people and delivering results.
Ideal Experience- Experience leading and developing successful sales teams.
- A strong background in outbound sales, business development and lead generation.
- A player‑manager mentality and the ability to balance leadership with personal sales targets.
- A proven track record of exceeding revenue goals.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- High levels of energy, resilience and ambition.
- The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
- Experience with in sport, events, hospitality or luxury experiences.
- A passion for sport and relationship‑led sales.
- Experience building outbound sales functions and developing junior talent.
