The RoleAs an Inside Sales Executive, you will work within a high-volume telesales environment, engaging exclusively with existing Citation Group clients over the phone.
Your focus will be on identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services from Citation Group’s portfolio. This is a phone-based, outbound sales role with a strong emphasis on conversation, objection handling, and closing deals rather than formal presentations.
You will be responsible for managing your own pipeline, working to targets, and maximising revenue from an established client base.
Key Responsibilities- Speak with existing Citation Group clients via outbound and inbound calls.
- Identify business needs through structured sales conversations.
- Uncover opportunities for additional services and solutions.
- Build rapport quickly over the phone and develop trusted client relationships.
- Position Citation Group as a long-term partner for compliance and business support.
- Match client needs to relevant Citation Group services.
- Communicate value clearly and concisely in a phone-based environment.
- Focus on commercial outcomes rather than formal presentations.
- Handle objections confidently and in real time during calls.
- Close sales directly within the conversation where possible.
- Maximise conversion from each client interaction.
- Manage all opportunities through CRM systems.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, outcomes, and forecasts.
- Prioritise high-value opportunities to drive performance.
You will sell a range of compliance and business support solutions, including:
- HR & Employment Law
- Health & Safety
- Electrical Compliance
- ISO Certification
- Cyber Security
- eLearning & Training Solutions
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven B2B telesales or phone-based sales experience.
- Strong ability to sell and close over the phone.
- Confident objection handling and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven mindset with a strong desire to earn commission.
- Ability to build rapport quickly without face-to-face interaction.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Competitive basic salary plus uncapped commission.
