Venue Sales Representative

Octopus Energy is looking for a Venues Sales Representative to engage customers in the field and promote our energy solutions.

• Engage face‑to‑face with customers at events, retail spaces, or door‑knocking in local communities to promote energy tariffs and low‑carbon technologies such as solar panels, heat pumps, and electric vehicles.
• Introduce local communities to Octopus Energy as a preferred supply option and help potential customers compare services with other energy companies.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in every conversation.

• No sales experience necessary; training will be provided.
• High energy and confident communication with potential customers.
• Experience in a customer‑centric setting with quick and effective solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team to influence and inspire.
• Clear communicator focused on listening and attention to detail.
• Honest, focused, and committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service.
• A driving licence and access to a car to travel between venues.

• £26,300 salary per year plus uncapped and unlimited commission (expected on‑target earnings of £15,000, top performers earning over £20,000).
• Typical schedule:
  
  5 days out of 7, usually 9‑5 or 10‑6, with some weekend work during busy periods.
