Sales Director Waste & Recycling £90,000 - £100,000 basic  bonus  car package THE CLIENT An established and growing business within the waste and recycling sector is entering its next phase of expansion across Scotland and beyond. With an established customer base across both the private and public sectors, continued investment in the business and ambitious growth plans, this is an opportunity for an experienced Sales Director to take genuine ownership of the commercial function and help shape what comes next.

This isn't a business looking for someone to simply maintain the status quo. The ambition is to grow, develop the team and build a stronger commercial operation around an already established platform.

THE ROLE As Sales Director, you'll take ownership of an existing account management team, with the opportunity to grow the wider commercial function as the business expands. Reporting directly to the MD, you'll have genuine board-level exposure and the freedom to influence commercial strategy, rather than simply executing someone else's plan. You'll be responsible for developing the team, identifying new revenue opportunities, strengthening key customer relationships and creating the structure needed to support continued growth.

ABOUT YOU You'll be an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of growing revenue through a team, developing people and building strong customer relationships. You'll be comfortable leading from the front, but equally capable of stepping back and creating the strategy, structure and processes needed to scale. Experience working with both private and public sector customers would be highly advantageous, as would experience within waste, recycling, environmental services or another closely related business-to-business environment.

Most importantly, you'll be commercially entrepreneurial, comfortable making decisions and able to operate effectively in a growing business where your ideas and actions will have a visible impact.
