Position: Sales Manager (Construction / Building Materials)
Find Core are thrilled to be assisting an established supplier within the construction and building materials sector with the recruitment of a Sales Manager . Permanent, full-time position based in Ely . Salary £45,000 basic salary  monthly bonus with OTE of approximately £60,000  excellent benefits This is a hands-on sales leadership role with responsibility for driving the day-to-day performance of an established internal sales team, developing people and ensuring monthly and quarterly targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day performance of the internal sales team. Drive achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets. Translate the wider sales strategy into clear activity and measurable results. Coach, train and develop team members through regular feedback and support. Monitor individual and team performance, identifying underperformance early and implementing actions. Work closely with Area Sales Managers and Key Account teams to deliver agreed regional and customer plans.

Maintain a strong understanding of pipeline, activity levels and performance against target. Ensure accurate CRM records and provide regular sales performance reporting. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and overall team effectiveness. Build a positive, accountable and high-performance sales culture. Skills & Experience Proven experience leading and developing a successful sales team. Background within internal sales, telesales, trade sales or a similar sales environment.

Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong coaching, leadership and people-management skills. Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation ability. Confident holding team members accountable and addressing performance issues. Strong communication and organisational skills.

Experience with in building materials, construction products, merchants, joinery, interiors or a related trade sector would be highly advantageous. Experience using CRM and sales analytics tools would be beneficial. What’s on Offer £45,000 basic salary. Monthly bonus with OTE of approximately £55,000. Permanent, full-time position.
