• Protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
• Deliver results that meet and/or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer, ensuring full responsibility and accountability.
• Take part in continuous self‑development through additional training.

• Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law and guidance bodies.
• Fully complete all tasks and duties on site as defined in the Assignment Instructions.
• Proactively review and propose amendments to the Assignment Instructions to improve service.
• Maintain required licences (front‑line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision, CCTV PSS SIA Licence) and renew them 16 weeks before expiry.
• Follow instructions and procedures without unnecessarily challenging authority.
• Work in a systematic, methodological and orderly way.

• Completely finish all required competency training.
• Undertake additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Use technology to achieve key objectives and develop knowledge through continuous professional development.

• Identify and immediately report any Health & Safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
• Stay alert to any threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce risk.
• Use common sense and initiative; involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
• Maintain professional conduct with difficult customers.
• Complete accurate notebook entries after any incident for the Incident Report process.
• Stick to schedules and show commitment to Mitie and the Client.
• Ensure check calls are carried out at the times stipulated in the Assignment Instructions.
• Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.

• Previous Security experience.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• SC Clearance desirable.
