The Elite Response Officer plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment across multiple stores during their shift. This high visibility officer is deployed to support locations identified by data analysis as needing additional security due to issues such as anti-social behaviour and crime displaced from local stores. The officer will collaborate closely with local police to manage and monitor known offenders, thereby supporting our internal teams in the development of intelligence reports.

• High-Visibility Patrols: conduct regular, highly visible patrols in and around the stores to deter anti-social behaviour and criminal activity.
• Incident Response: quickly respond to any incidents of anti-social behaviour, theft, or other security concerns within the stores.
• Collaboration with Local Police: maintain strong communication and collaboration with local law enforcement agencies to address known offenders and ensure rapid response to serious incidents.
• Reporting: document and report all incidents accurately and promptly, ensuring all relevant details are captured for further investigation and analysis.
• Data-Driven Deployment: support stores identified through data analysis as having increased security needs, focusing efforts where they are most required.
• Customer Service: provide excellent customer service to store staff and customers, maintaining a professional and approachable presence at all times.

  Experience:
  
  previous experience in a security role, preferably in a retail environment.

  strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with store staff, customers, and police officers.
• Problem Solving: ability to remain calm under pressure and quickly resolve conflicts and incidents.
• Attention to Detail: keen observation skills and the ability to document incidents accurately.
• Flexibility: willingness to support multiple stores and adapt to changing priorities and security needs.
• Professionalism: high level of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to providing a safe environment for all.
• A valid driving licence is required for this role, and a company car will be provided for travel between stores.

This role involves working across various store locations, often requiring travel between stores during a shift. The Elite Response Officer must be prepared to handle challenging and potentially confrontational situations, always prioritising safety and security.

The work schedule is data-driven, with officers deployed to stores at times when security needs are highest. Flexibility in working hours is essential.
