42 hours per week, with additional hours available.

Shift Pattern:
Days, nights, and weekends – 6am to 6pm, 6pm to 6am.

Rate of Pay: £14.68 per hour.

We are seeking a Security Officer to provide security services across multiple locations.

Ensure the safety and security of premises in Scotstoun & Govan, provide security for staff, visitors and property. Duties include patrolling, monitoring CCTV, controlling access, responding to incidents, managing alarms, reporting, health and safety compliance and customer service.

• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols across the sites.
• Monitor and control access by checking identification and enforcing access policies.
• Monitor CCTV systems to detect unusual or suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, alarms.
• Ensure alarms are activated/deactivated per shift requirements.
• Keep accurate records of incidents and activities.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols.
• Maintain professional security presence and provide customer service.

• Valid SIA Licence (essential).
• Excellent communication skills and customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and act decisively.
• British national by birth or have held a British passport for minimum 5 years.
• 5‑year checkable work history.
• Willing and able to obtain SC clearance.
