Fire & Security Engineer - Reactive Works - Glasgow

G and PA Postcode Areas

Rate: £270 per day + mileage (claimable after threshold met)

Contract:

6-month rolling (option to extend)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, standard working hours

Pay:
Weekly (every Friday)

We're seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to carry out reactive service and maintenance works across the G and PA postcode areas (Scotland).

You'll be responsible for attending callouts, fault-finding, and completing repairs on a range of fire and security systems across commercial and public sector sites. This is a long-term, stable contract for a reliable engineer who can work independently and deliver to a high standard.

• Attend reactive callouts and complete remedial works
• Fault-find and repair fire alarm, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems
• Complete and submit detailed job reports
• Maintain a professional and safe working environment on all client sites
• Liaise with clients and internal teams where required

• Proven experience in fire and security systems service and maintenance
• Strong technical ability across fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Must have own tools and test equipment
• Good communication and timekeeping skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. FIA, ECS, IPAF)
• Experience with leading manufacturers such as Kentec, Advanced, Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision, etc.

• £270 per day
• Mileage claimable after daily threshold
• Weekly pay - every Friday
• 6-month rolling contract with extension opportunities
• Outside IR35
• Stable, full-time workload (Monday-Friday)
