We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team, responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of copper caballing and containment systems across the Electranet portfolio.

• Competent in the structured cabling installation of Cat5E UTP/STP, Cat6 UTP/STP & Cat6A UTP/STP within the premises.
• Terminate and test cables within patch panels and data outlets.
• Trace and fault‑find data cables within premises.
• Test data cabling using Fluke DSX data tester.
• Patching out data cabinets as per client spreadsheets.
• Competent in the fibre cabling installation of multimode and single‑mode fibre cables within the premises.
• Terminate fibre cables within fibre panels/fibre boxes using Fibre Splicer or hot‑cured/Crimp terminations.
• Trace and fault‑find fibre within premises using OTDR.
• Test fibre cabling using Fluke DSX multimode/single‑mode tester.
• Voice cabling: install multimode voice cabling within the premises.
• Terminate/jumpero voice cabling within 237A Krone strips.
• Trace and fault‑find voice cables within premises.
• Test voice cabling using Fluke DTX & DSX data tester.
• Install floor‑mounted and wall‑mounted data cabinets/racks within comms rooms.
• Install cable tray, basket tray, PVC and metal trunking, PVC and metal conduit and cable matting within the premises.
• Understand patching requirements.
• Work with Commscope, Brand‑Rex, Excel, Panduit, Nexans & Connectix cabling products.

• Customer‑focused individual with a proactive approach to working.
• Ability to work on own initiative and/or as part of a team.
• Ability to work safely and understand the contract and Health & Safety requirements/regulations.
• ECS Grade Card equivalent to one of the following:
  • The BTEC Level 3 NVQ for IT and Telecoms Professionals or equivalent
  • The BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals or equivalent
  • C&G 4520 Level 3 NVQ in ICT Professional Competence
• Full clean driving license.
