Electrician (Lighting & Electrical Projects)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to undertake all aspects of electrical and LED lighting installations
, including minor works, testing, and inspection where applicable.

The role involves delivering lighting and electrical projects across retail, industrial, commercial, and government sectors
, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Carry out LED lighting and electrical installations to the required standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Lighting Project Team
  , subcontractors
  , and Project Manager to meet project deadlines and quality objectives.
• Work from electrical drawings
  , including installation, circuit, and schematic diagrams.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification with minimal rework.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and adhere to all site safety protocols.
• Accurately complete all work-related documentation (reports, timesheets, inspection records, etc.).
• Take responsibility for the company vehicle
  , tools, and materials.
• Work nights and away from home as required (majority of work occurs outside of normal working hours, Monday to Friday).
• Undertake additional duties as instructed by the Project Manager.

• Fully qualified to 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• 2383-18 18th Edition Update certification.
• EV charging units – desirable (training available if required).
• IPAF and/or PASMA certifications – desirable (training available if required).
• Ability to work at heights (up to 3 metres) and lift weights up to 25kg.
• Must be able to work nights and travel/stay away from home
  .
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
