Adult Safeguarding Social Worker

Overview

Are you an experienced Adult Social Worker who thrives in safeguarding and enjoys managing complex work independently? This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Adult Safeguarding Team, where you'll play a key role in protecting vulnerable adults and delivering high-quality statutory interventions.

You will benefit from a hybrid working arrangement, with just 1–2 days per week in the office
, making this an ideal opportunity for someone based locally who is looking for greater flexibility.

This is a permanent role. We work closely with hiring managers to streamline the recruitment process and get you started as quickly as possible.

You will be joining a supportive service that values experienced practitioners, encourages professional autonomy, and recognises the importance of delivering timely, high-quality safeguarding practice.

• Manage a caseload focused on Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, assessing risk, coordinating interventions, and achieving positive outcomes for adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
• Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning, ensuring all interventions are person-centred, strengths-based, and compliant with statutory legislation.
• Collaborate with partner agencies, including health professionals, care providers, housing services, and the police, to manage safeguarding concerns effectively and provide appropriate support.

As this is a statutory role, you must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with strong experience completing safeguarding enquiries, Care Act assessments, and statutory reviews within Adult Social Care.
