- Part Time - 20 hours (Nights)
Contract:
- Part Time, Permanent (Nights)
- Provide a programme of intensive housing management to service users referred into the HRS in accordance with housing benefit support exemption requirements.
- Deliver housing management within a service that supports women with complex needs who suffer severe and multiple disadvantages, to immediately prevent or resolve homelessness and enable them to develop sufficient, independent living skills in order to move‑on, sustain a tenancy and live fulfilling lives.
- Engage with service users on a weekly basis to support individuals to maintain and achieve independent living in the community.
- Provide a high‑quality service, ensuring outstanding customer service and service delivery by acting as an ambassador for Humbercare and being the point of contact for customers. Engage with service users to design services that work for them and utilise resources within the local area to make a real, quality difference to peoples’ lives.
- Educated to Level 2 Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a social care or similar environment, preferably with women.
- Knowledge of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Care Principles and Practice.
- Knowledge of statutory and voluntary support agencies that specialise supporting women.
- Working knowledge of person‑centred, strengths‑based approaches to support and care planning.
- Experience of working with others to achieve successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Team working experience, working cooperatively with colleagues in complex, pressurised situations.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.
- Willing to work towards a recognised housing/care/support qualification.
