Housing Officer
Job OverviewThe Housing Officer will deliver a wide range of housing services to customers. Responsibilities include managing homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery and addressing anti‑social behaviour. The role requires excellent IT skills, strong organisational and prioritising abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Employment DetailsHours:
35 hours per week, permanent. Monday – Thursday 8:45am – 4:45pm, Friday 8:45am – 4:15pm. Salary: £29,326 – £34,399 per year. Eligible to participate in South Lanarkshire Council's Car Pool Scheme; access to a vehicle is advantageous for travel to alternative locations.

- Adapt to changing priorities to deliver a quality service
• Equivalent experience working within a housing related environment
• Understanding of current homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery and anti‑social behaviour legislation
• Excellent IT skills
• Strong organisational and prioritising skills
• Must not be barred from working with children or adults under the Disclosure Scotland Act 2020
This post is a Regulated Role with Children and Adults; applicants barred from working with children or adults are not eligible.
